HospitalityMaine Announces 2025 Award Winners
AUGUSTA, Maine — HospitalityMaine, the state’s nonprofit trade association representing lodging and restaurant operators, will honor a new slate of hospitality leaders at its 2025 Awards Night on Nov. 17 at the Samoset Resort in Rockport.
Each year, the organization recognizes professionals who set the standard for excellence in Maine’s hospitality industry.
“I have the privilege of working with people who make Maine hospitality truly shine. This year’s winners go above and beyond, bringing warmth, creativity, and care to everything they do. They inspire everyone around them and remind us why hospitality in Maine is so special,” said Becky Jacobson, Executive Director of HospitalityMaine.
2025 Hospitality Award Winners:
Chef of the Year: Gil Plaster, Executive Chef, The Causeway Restaurant at The Craignair Inn, Spruce Head.
Restaurateur of the Year: Joshua Miranda, owner of Blyth & Burrows, Via Vecchia, Papi, and Off-Track Pizza, Portland.
Innkeeper of the Year: Katie Keene, Dunes on the Waterfront, Ogunquit.
Allied Member of the Year: Paper Trails, Kennebunk.
Employee of the Year: Cheyenne Wright, York Harbor Inn, York.
