Nikkol Mulligan knew she wanted to be a chef from the time she was eight years old. Growing up in Northern Maine, she pursued that passion early, competing in high school culinary events through the ProStart program and SkillsUSA. Those formative experiences set the foundation for her career in hospitality. She went on to attend the Culinary Institute of America, where she served as student body vice president, chaired multiple committees, and graduated valedictorian. Nikkol holds an Associate of Occupational Studies in Culinary Arts, a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Management, and a concentration in Advanced Wine Studies.
After graduating, she moved to Portland to begin her professional journey, eventually becoming Executive Chef of the historic Black Point Inn in Prouts Neck. In addition to her work at the inn, she serves as Vice President of the American Culinary Federation Casco Bay Chapter and is an active ProStart judge in Maine, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts, helping to mentor the next generation of culinary professionals.
